With Wholesaling I get to use my ppc knowledge and some ppv to help me find buyers and sellers. I am going to start pushing myself after this weekend to achieve 30k within in 3 months.  Basically I have until September 28 2010, to reach my goal. My reward will be a trip and possibly some cigars.

I will be posting on a daily basis about a lot of things  especially  about  the real estate. I really want to motivate myself and others to reach for their goals and never look back.

I am going to create a case study around an offer. Don’t ask why I choose offers because I dont have a specific system. I just see something I think people might need and go from there. Don’t always stress over where your gonna get the traffic. If you are like me and just beginning toy around have fun just don’t blow all your money.

Now time for the offer I have chosen ‘Body Solutions Cellulite System’ now as I said dont ask why. I spoke to Mike he told me there hasnt been much traffic but it does seem like a good offer. That is all I want to hear.

Another reason you select something like this, because in any given economy people still want to look good, so with weight loss comes something else a bright smile and good looking legs. Women want to look good on the beach. Give them the solution mi amigos.

So now that I have chosen my offer time to figure out where I want to market. I would say yahoo or msn for cheap clicks but lets not base it off of that, lets look where the affiliate marketers are. Where evere they are I wanna be.

I am only going to use 3 keywords to find out more about this market on the big 3. Cellulite, Cellulite Removal, and Cellulite Cream.

As for my 2nd campaign it was anti wrinkle cream. I had 2 landing pages developed a review style and a splash page for Lift SP. The CTR from LP to offer was horrible, 15-20% is not a good CTR. I did receive 2 conversion which earned me 68$ but at the cost of 200$. I will say this much I think the niche was full of browsers I saw the same complaint on WickedFire. Ruck stated I should try to presell some more I will come back to this niche later on.

I am now on my 3rd offer, I have done my due diligence. Looked at what others are doing A whole lot of flogs and review sites. I have set myself up with a landing site that can work for almost any one of the offers in that vertical ( no it is not a flog) and a review site. My LP designer is SiteStomp.com must say It is amazing work in such short time.

To keep myself busy I will begin working on another campaign while I wait for this one to get approved on Yahoo.

This next campaign I am going to work on will be public showing step by step what I do to complete a campaign it might not go live but that is not the point. I really want to help others and I also want to improve my skill in how fast I can get these made. Absorbing everything you read helps but actually doing the work helps a lot more.

So with all that said can I start to get some real traffic YSM! I set my bids to 1.50 and the mother fuckers charged me the 1.50 from a .info domain the domain doesn’t even cost as much as my click!

These fucktards are gonna get a phone call as soon as they fucking open.

Yup that is right time to launch my second campaign. I have dedicated a lot of time to  working on this next campaign. Now time for me to go over a checklist before I launch.

1. No Adgroups over 15 keywords
2. Budget per keyword is not over 1.00$
3. Campaign is being tracked properly on the keyword level and Landing Page.
4. Review content on landing page double check for typos
5. Have a set amount in my head that I don’t want to go over for this campaign.
6. Check for any new competition.

That all comes to one thing I hope from this campaign $$PROFIT$$

I will be expanding on what else to check for from a campaign once this one goes live and I gain some experience.  I will be updating the blog everyday once the campaign is up and running. Keeping all my Revenue up to date.

Of course right now I am not unemployed but the attitude of being unemployed makes you eager to find a source of income. I know this blog honestly only has one reader (2/28/09) and that is my buddy The Idle. I am content with that I really started this blog to be a journal of my transition from 9-5 to Affiliate Marketing. Hopefully it can be a resource for people that are going through this same process later on and if it does not I really do not mind. The Idle I want to thank you for telling me it is not all about the money because in reality it was never about the money, it is all about being happy. I want to be able to travel, expand my knowledge of the internet, and become a better person. All that comes from hard work and understanding we will never receive anything without getting up and going for it.

Now onto the Affiliate Marketing part of this post. I read this on Wickedfire.com

• pick the niche you want to go into with an affiliate manager
• make sure you go for something that is making people money
• set your budget at an amount you can afford to lose
• take a look at what others are doing in the niche
• do something similar, make it your own
• build a keyword list using the adwords, adcenter or ysm tools
• set up your campaigns and write your ads
• track your traffic with Prosper202 or similar
• watch your stats and find keywords / phrases that work and build on them
• watch your stats and find keywords that don’t work and get rid of them
• be prepared to break even or lose some money at first
• test, test, test, test
• profit

That is so damn straightforward and it is a basic guideline. Stick to that and you have to make it. Just go for it.

If I can give any good advice, work at a pace you can handle do not stress yourself out. Most people will say treat it like a 9-5 but you know that is not so possible when you have a television sitting next to you and you have a damn browser sitting on your desktop as a shortcut. Do not stay occupied with just work enjoy life!

I just completed setting up my first campaign… and I feel fucking great. So here goes some of the details, I will try my best to explain everything.

I decided to ask my affiliate manager Brittany (affiliate.com) what are some good offers to run on search. She named a few but none of them clicked for me, main reason none clicked was the simple fact they all were pretty competitive. She then named one for car quotes with an epc (earnings per click) of 0.70. I checked out the landing page it seemed pretty straight to the point.

With me deciding on the niche, I then did the Google trends research which showed me that it really doesn’t have much USA traffic, but has tons in UK searching for the term. I still proceeded to set it up for USA.

Did some Google searches for different variables of the keyword to see what competitors are doing and honestly, I could not find any other affiliate marketers unless they are all whitelabel (working directly with the company) or direct linking. I saw no real great looking LP’s (Landing Page) probably only one that had a page with every make of vehicles and a picture of at least one of the models. This is where I decided to actually run the campaign with YSM (yahoo search marketing) I made this decision because you can direct link with yahoo for now. The reason for direct linking is all my competitors have the field to fill in on the first page the customer comes to. If I was to setup a campaign with Google I would be forced to make a LP that I know won’t help me convert.

Once I decided on my search engine and my method of pushing users to the offer, I only need to do the most painstaking part keywords. I have not used any paid tools and don’t plan to till I start to see a good ROI (return on investment). I first opened up Google Keyword Tool and typed in the base keyword ‘Car Quote’. The results I got back helped me find out I need to use a few negative keywords. Two of the major negative keywords ‘Insurance’ and ‘Loan’. I am not looking for anybody that needs a loan or insurance quotes. There wasn’t much thinking outside of the box for this offer, it was more of me deciding to actually tack on keywords that I know would help convert. ‘free car quote’, ‘new car quote’, ‘new vehicle quote’, ‘free vehicle quote’ and the list goes on. As you can see I am stressing new and free. Try to use the synonym of your base keywords car=vehicle=automobile. Also I used the word ‘lease’.

Once all keywords have been completed I moved on to the next step forming ad groups. This process should not be complicated just time consuming best advice I can give is open up a spreadsheet and create a bunch of tabs. Name each tab the name of the ad group simple as that. I also recommend not using any tools for your first time get use to building a campaign from scratch. I will just give one example of an ad group:

Ad Group: Lease new car

• Lease new car
• Lease new vehicle
• Lease new automobile

As simple as that just try to tightly group all your keywords for a better QS (quality score)

I then make up the text ads I looked at the competitors ads and made variations of them. Not much advice I can give there because I am not great at call to action words yet. Also the text ads I created are first put into prosper202. Everything is pretty much done all I do from here is open up YSM’s horrible web interface and manually add everything. I only used search and standard. The reason I am not using content is because I don’t know how to exactly control that traffic and advanced is like broad match from Google. The goal here is to find the keywords that convert so I need to see exactly what people are looking for. I think that is pretty much everything.

All this takes is time, dedication, and some money.

Also I did get one lead 7.50$ but I spent 10$ to get it. My first major mistake was having ‘used car’ keywords which had no chance of converting since the offer is for new cars.

Good morning world,

Here at FYP.me I believe in one thing and one thing only ‘get paid’. I am not sure how many people know the term “hit the pavement for leads” or “ground pounding”, it is basically a sales term used for a team. It means sometimes you do not just sit at your desk, you go out there and hit the streets for leads go visit the business hell do everything in your power to hit that quota.

That is exactly where I am right now this blog is my beginning to end. There is no reason to give you some long winded introduction to who the fuck I am. I want to make money and if you are reading this first post then you obviously are on the same path. I want to be able to help people without all the bullshit.

With all that said I am in the transition of leaving ppc-coach (sorry coach as of right now all I feel the program is good for is giving you a niche aka months and the tools). I am starting fresh no keyword programs, less reading of blogs and all these ‘true’ success stories. I will admit to being on the http://cashtactics.net private forum but that does not come out of my pocket.

So let me explain the resources I do have:

2,500$ saved up for my PPC experience.

2,000$ Visa with about 300$ left to pay off.

Adwords and YSM experience from messing around building campaigns.

My girlfriend that supports me in everything I do.

My Dad aka My Accountant.

Drive – as cheesy as that sounds.

My goal to hit 5,000$ net in 3 months.
